St. Paul’s Cathedral

Our existing on-premise phone system lacked flexibility and functionality, and the necessary upgrade would require significant investment in order to deliver the features and functionality needed. The pandemic further accelerated the need for digital transformation as all staff from senior management to those on the cathedral floor had to move to remote working when government restrictions forced the venue to close.

Working with Charterhouse meant that St Paul’s could access all that a UC Cloud Solution had to offer, as well as the enhanced management, billing services and staff training available through Charterhouse.

The cloud solution has opened up a new way of working for St Paul’s staff, allowing for additional benefits not available within the existing on-premise solution. It has also enabled the organisation to deliver as much as possible to both visitors and staff within the constraints of the COVID-19 restrictions.
